Esta es la primer luz del telescopio FSQ106, después de agregarle el reductor focal para quedar en un largo focal de 385mm, mismo que con la cámara FLI8300, permite encuadrar unos campos anchos realmente espectaculares, como en este caso fotografiando a las nebulosas clasificadas como IC443 para la Nebulosa de la Medusa o Jellyfish Nebula, en la derecha, y la IC444 a la izquierda. La primera es una nebulosa planetaria que albergaba a una estrella neutrónica que explotó hace unos 30,000 años y dejó una extensión muy grande de remanentes; se encuentra a unos 5,000 años luz de distancia. En la foto las nebulosas están franqueadas por las estrellas Mu y Eta de la constelación de Géminis. Es una foto de 5:30 horas de exposición.
